Seeds Literary and Arts Magazine

Synthesis of Visions was conceived in response to COVID-19 in September 2021. The concept blended students’ personal identities before the pandemic, the changes they underwent, and who they became afterward. We received student submissions that showcased growth through isolation to create an annual literary and arts magazine.

As Managing Editor, I led and managed a staff of 30+ people. My responsibilities included conflict resolution, delivering weekly presentations and workshops, conducting meetings with editors, and producing two online magazines and one print magazine. This role gave me an overview of all aspects of the creative process and how organizational management. From handling backend logistics and troubleshooting technical challenges to planning fundraisers for print production, understanding layout design and its impact on showcased art, and resolving team conflicts, being a Managing Editor was one of the most insightful positions I have held.
