Symbolizing the internal and external state of maturing, In-Transit explores themes of moving on to the next stage of life. Externally, the model is moving into something new and unfamiliar, symbolized by the moving truck. Internally, they are holding on to what they already know. Change is unpredictable and people are often attached to the past and find comfort in familiarity. Our team strategically placed furniture we valued from our childhood to visually communicate this internal/ external struggle.
