To the Selection Committee:
Jade Lichtenstein asked me to write a letter of recommendation for your internship program. It is my pleasure to do so.
I am appointed Teaching Faculty at Florida State University. I have known Jade through two courses that I teach for the school– Principles of Advertising and Advertising Strategy. Jade distinguished herself both instances through her consistently high level of performance, her strategic thinking and her creative problem-solving ability.
Jade is a fast learner who consistently demonstrated the ability to understand and apply concepts at an accelerated pace. Her understanding of course material showed in her individual and team work as well as during class discussions. She was a top performer in class – particularly in respect of her initiative, collaborative ability, and creative skills.
Jade also has strong communication skills. In my strategy course, she worked on a semester-long project in a team environment. Her interpersonal communication skills and collaborative spirit were integral to the success of the project. Jade not only excels personally, but she truly cultivates an environment where her whole team thrives.
I highly recommend Jade to your internship. If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to email me at kkelly4@fsu.edu.

To the MAIPE Application Committee,
It is a pleasure to recommend Jade Lichtenstein to the MAIPE social strategy program. As an Admissions Counselor, part of my responsibility was to supervise student Ambassadors who work as tour guides for The Florida State University Visitor Center. The office has been fortunate to employ some of the brightest, talented, and mature students on this campus, and Jade stands out as one of the most impressive among her peers.
Before leaving my role in Admissions in December 2024, I worked with Jade as her supervisor for the last year. In her position at the Visitor Center, she is responsible for hosting prospective students and their families as they view Florida State for the first time. General job responsibilities include presenting one-hundred-and-twenty-minute walking tours of campus, performing general office procedures, and maintaining customer relations with visitors throughout their day. She has been a stand-out member of our staff and takes every opportunity to take on additional roles, within this job and other campus communities she is involved in at Florida State.
As a university tour guide, Jade has significantly improved upon her interpersonal communication skills, leadership capabilities, and her commitment to teamwork. Beyond being an invaluable asset to our office, she is also a highly engaged member of the Florida State University community. Jade consistently applies these skills across her campus involvements, fostering her growth as both a communicator and a leader. Jade is a double-major in both Entrepreneurship and Advertising, both of which are highly competitive programs to be admitted to at Florida State. In addition to her involvement in our office, she has used the skills gained from her major to her other commitments on campus.
I have immensely enjoyed getting to know Jade Lichtenstein as an employee, but also as an individual. She is a natural leader whose professionalism and ambition have always given me the utmost confidence in her no matter what task she undertakes. It is for these reasons that I recommend her for your program. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions regarding this recommendation.
Sincerely,
Samantha Buxbaum
